Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal Pancakes for the Whole Family

Here's another yummy pancake breakfast that the whole family can enjoy. These have whole grains, fiber, vitamin A, calcium, potassium, and protein. These are for babies 8+ months, and mommies and daddies of all ages.

Here's what you'll need:
3/4 cup multigrain pancake mix (I use arrowhead mills so I don't need to use eggs)
3 tblsp organic oats
1/2 cup organic unsweetened applesauce
1 tblsp ground cinnamon
1/3 cup plain greek yogurt or organic whole milk plain yogurt
1 tblsp olive oil
2 eggs (if using pancake mix other than arrowhead mills)

Mix all ingredients together until well blended. Heat 2 tblsp olive oil in a large skillet. Ladle the pancake batter into the skillet and cook. Flip when you start to see air bubbles in the pancake. Serve and enjoy!

Pumpkin Banana Yogurt for Baby

Good Morning! We are on vacation, so I haven't had time to post, but I thought I would share this yummy yogurt mixture. I've given my little guy pumpkin banana puree before, but this morning I decided to add some Greek yogurt to add some protein. This is full of calcium, protein, potassium, and vitamin A. This is for babies 6+ months.

Here's what you'll need:
2 oz pureed cooked pumpkin (I use organic canned pumpkin when they're not in season. You can also cut up a pumpkin into small cubes and steam or cook in the microwave. If you steam do it for 10-15 minutes, if you cook it add some filtered water and microwave for 5 or so minutes.)
1 banana mashed
2 tblsp plain 2% or higher Greek yogurt (I use Fage)
Pinch of cinnamon

Mix together, serve and enjoy!

Banana Blueberry Quinoa Pudding

Good Morning all! Here's what we had for breakfast this morning. Just like with the Apple Rice Pudding, there is no pudding or sugar in this dish. I call it pudding because that's what it looks like to me. This is another yummy way to incorporate quinoa into your baby's diet, and it's a very healthy breakfast for Mommy too! This is for babies 7+ months and Mommies and Daddies of all ages :)

Here's what you'll need:
2-3 tblsp cooked quinoa pureed (follow cooking directions on package)
1 small banana mashed
1 oz blueberry puree
2-3 tblsp organic whole milk plain yogurt, or 2% Greek Yogurt (I like Fage)

Mix all ingredients together, serve, and enjoy! You can also add a dash of cinnamon if you like.

Apple Rice Pudding

I made this for my little one yesterday, and he really liked it. Now I say pudding because that's what it looks like, but there's no sugar or pudding actually in it. It's a yummy alternative to oatmeal for baby, and it's very gentle on the tummy. This recipe is for babies 6+ months

2 tblsp cooked organic brown rice pureed
2 tblsp Fage plain greek yogurt (2% or higher)
1-2 oz apple puree

Cook brown rice according to instructions on box. Let it cool and then puree it with filtered water until you get the desired texture. Add yogurt, apple, and a pinch of cinnamon (optional), stir together and enjoy!

P.S - You can also add pureed turkey to this instead of yogurt, and serve it for dinner.
